A Little About Us
Tiny Miracles was founded in 2021 by Monica Davis after years of working with children and families throughout Connecticut. What began as Monica personally providing support to families during the postpartum period, quickly grew into something much bigger: a team of compassionate, experienced doulas serving families across the whole state.
As Tiny Miracles has grown, Monica’s role has evolved—but she remains at the heart of the agency. While Monica no longer works directly with families in their homes, she is very much involved in the day-to-day experience of every Tiny Miracles family. She is your first point of contact, helping you navigate services, answering questions, learning what matters most to your family, and thoughtfully matching you with a doula who fits your needs and personality.
Behind the scenes, Monica oversees the administrative side of Tiny Miracles, supports and coordinates the doula team, and works to make the process of finding birth and postpartum support feel as simple and personal as possible.
One of Monica’s favorite parts of her role is building connections within the Connecticut parenting community. She loves getting to know other local professionals, discovering resources for families, creating relationships within the birth and postpartum community, and connecting parents with the people and services that can make their transition into parenthood a little easier.
Tiny Miracles has grown into a statewide team of birth and postpartum professionals serving families throughout Connecticut. Our doulas bring different backgrounds, personalities, specialties, and experiences to the agency, allowing us to thoughtfully match families with the support that feels right for them.
Our team includes birth doulas, postpartum doulas, newborn care specialists, lactation educators, babywearing educators, and professionals with a variety of additional training and certifications. Our doulas are CPR and First Aid trained and insured, and many hold professional certifications within their areas of expertise.
Although each member of our team brings something unique, we share the same philosophy: families deserve compassionate, judgment-free support that meets them exactly where they are.
There is no single “right” way to give birth, feed a baby, establish routines, or parent a child. Our job isn’t to tell you how to parent. It’s to give you reliable information, practical help, reassurance, and a steady set of hands so that you can feel confident making the choices that are right for your family.
From your very first conversation with Monica to the doula who walks through your door, our goal is for Tiny Miracles to feel less like an agency you hired and more like a village you can count on.
